Swanage Retail Awards

The RetailSkillshop undertook a consumer survey - otherwise known as a mystery shopping exercise - in Swanage. A number of local shops were visited and the excellence of the welcome and quality of service were independently assessed.

All those who took part received details of the survey, and had the chance to benefit from additional training opportunities.

The winner was Chococo - the specialist hand-made chocolate producers in Commercial Road, Swanage. Andy Burnet said "We were delighted to win Best Overall in this year's Swanage Retail Awards last night. Based on mystery shopper visits, consumer feedback to our services, our contribution to building the local economy & our role in helping to build the profile of Swanage, we won best retailer of the year in our little seaside town & we are all chuffed to bits".
